Daryl John Greiman

GARNER - Daryl J. Greiman, 72, of Garner died Monday, September 3, 2012 at Mercy Medical Center - North Iowa in Mason City.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 5 P.M., Wednesday, September 12th at the Garner Golf and Country Club.

Cataldo Funeral Home in Garner is in charge of arrangements.

Daryl John Greiman, the son of Norman and Margaret (Engstler) Greiman, was born February 15, 1940 at Waterloo. He graduated from Garner-Hayfield High School in 1958 and attended the University of Maryland. Daryl enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and was stationed in Greece. He lived and worked in Greece for fourteen years before returning to Garner where he lived on Maple Hill Farm east of Garner until his death. Daryl had worked in graphic design at Iowa Mold Tooling and then opened his business, The Final Frame, where he met and enjoyed his many customers. Following retirement, Daryl enjoyed good music, traveling, playing tennis and golf and delivering trucks and motor homes.

He is survived by his companion, Barb Eisenmenger; a sister, Linda (Jim) Rapp; three brothers, Patrick (Jane) Greiman, Russell Greiman and Joseph Greiman; and several nieces and nephews.

Daryl was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Thomas and James Greiman; and a nephew, Joshua Greiman
