Helen M. Earles

Helen M. Earles, 89, of Britt passed away Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at MercyOne North Iowa Hospice Unit in Mason City.

A private family graveside service will be held Monday, May 3, 2021 at Evergreen Cemetery in Britt with Rev. Robert Dodge of the United Methodist Church officiating.  There will be no visitation. 

Helen Marguerite Earles, the daughter of Willie and Florence (Dewey) Earles, was born April 19, 1932 at Kanawha.  She lived with her parents until the age of 14 when she moved to the Woodward State Hospital. Helen lived in several other centers for people with disabilities before returning to Britt in 2013 where she resided at Westview Care Center.  She loved her dolls, stuffed animals and listening to music.

Helen is survived by her siblings, Ruby Milner of Garner, Jim (Fran) Earles of Prescott, AZ, Charles (Doris) Earles of Britt, Shirley (Lee) Marchand of Britt, David (Jeanette) Earles of Olathe, KS and Barbara Kavars of Manly; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, George and Roger Earles.
