Jack L. Jutting, 68, of Buffalo Center, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 20, 2023, at Timely Mission Nursing Home. Born on July 22, 1955, in Buffalo Center, Jack Leroy Jutting was the son of Roland and Mona (Mason) Jutting.
Jack attended Buffalo Center High School and graduated with the Class of 1973. He furthered his education at Anoka Technical College and earned a degree in landscaping. Throughout his career, Jack worked diligently in the field of landscaping. He began his professional journey at a nursery in Elmore, MN and later at a nursery in Ames.
On July 22, 1978, Jack married Mona Friis in South Dakota. Together they created a loving and supportive home in the Buffalo Center area for most of their married life. Jack's industrious spirit led him to employment at Winnebago Industries in Forest City until his retirement.
Outside of work, Jack had a keen interest in reading and photography. He was known for capturing beautiful moments through the lens of his camera. Additionally, Jack had an adventurous side that found expression through shooting model rockets.
Jack is survived by his beloved wife, Mona of Buffalo Center; five siblings: Patricia (Selby) Myers of Aurora, CO; Randy Jutting of Lake Mills; Kathie Veal of Missoula, MT; Paul (Janet) Jutting of Buffalo Center; and Gene Jutting of Hutchinson, MN. He also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roland and Mona Jutting; as well as two brothers, Gary and Charles Jutting.
At this time, there are no planned services to commemorate Jack's life.
