John R. Stille

John R. Stille, 75, of St. Paul, MN, passed away Thursday, September 7, 2023, at Ebenezer Care and Rehab in St. Paul.

John Russel Stille, the son of Russel and Emily (Brayton) Stille, was born February 2, 1947, in Des Moines, Iowa.  He grew up in Edina, MN, and graduated from Minneapolis Lutheran High School in 1969. John was married to Kathleen Reif.  To this union, two children were born:  Kimberly and Jake. The family lived in Brooklyn Park, MN. John was employed at Kurt Manufacturing until his retirement. He enjoyed his love for dogs, fishing and many other outdoor activities. He especially loved time with his family. 

He was a member of  Bread of Life Deaf Lutheran Church in Minneapolis, MN.

John is survived by his children, Kimberly Stille of Riverside, CA and Jake Stille of Monticello, MN; two grandchildren, sister, Susan (Richard) Remerowski of Osseo, MN; brother, James (Kathryn) Stille of Plymouth, MN; and many nephews and nieces.  

A  Celebration of Life in Minnesota and a Graveside Memorial Service at Concord Township Cemetery in Garner, IA, will both be held at a later date. Notices will follow.
