Linda L. Dice, 71, passed away peacefully Saturday, June 3, 2023, at her home in Klemme.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 am, Wednesday, June 7, 2023, at the United Presbyterian Church in Garner with Rev. David Skilling officiating. To view her service please click the following link: https://vimeo.com/event/3479642
A memorial visitation will be held from 5 to 7 pm, Tuesday at Cataldo Funeral Chapel, 160 E. 4th St., Garner.
Memorials may be directed to the Linda Dice Benefit.
Linda was passionate about cross-stitching, her dog, reading, baking, making delicious jellies, gardening, and spending time with her husband. She was a witty individual who loved crosswords and playing board games with her children and grandchildren. Her children remember her as a kind, gentle, loving, mother who raised them. She was an active and devout member of the United Presbyterian Church.
Linda is survived by her husband, Kevin Dice of Klemme; her four children: son, Thomas Dice (Sarah Dice, Sophia, Easton, and Logan) of New Hartford, IA; daughter, Katherine Tickal (Ben Tickal, Ember, and Ashlynn) of Waterloo; son, Patrick Dice (Heather Dice, Parker, Taylor, and Austin) of Cedar Falls; daughter Elizabeth Dice-Unker (Jacob Unker) of Garner; sister, Karen Peters (Dave Peters); brother, LeRoy Carey (Beverly Carey); sister-in-law, Karen Bachman (Chuck Bachman); and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Boyd and Evelyn Carey of York, Nebraska; and son, Jonathan Dice.
