Lynn A. Vold

FOREST CITY - Lynn A.Vold, age 54 of Forest City, died at his home in Forest City on Sunday, March 22, 2009.



A Memorial Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2009 from 4 to 7 PM at Petersen Lund Funeral Home in Forest City. Inurnment will be a private family service at Oakland Cemetery at a later date.



There will be no formal funeral services held.





Lynn A. Vold was born in Albert Lea, Minnesota on February 18, 1955, the son of Donald O. and Juanita Mae (Straley) Vold. Lynn received his elementary education in Lake Mills and graduated from Forest City High School in 1973.



He attended NIACC for a brief time before beginning to work at Winnebago Industries in Forest City where he continued working for over 30 years.



Lynn enjoyed spending time with his family. He loved hunting and fishing and was a member of Ducks Unlimited.



Lynn is survived by his mother, Nita Vold, sister Sheila McGuire and her husband Patrick, niece and nephew, Hallie and Shaun McGuire, an uncle, Vernon (Betty) Vold, an aunt, Audra Kae (Lyle) Hansen and many cousins, friends and co-workers.



Lynn was preceded in death by his father Donald Vold in 1991 and his grandparents.
