Mary Ann Ward

Mary Ann Ward, 74, of Forest City, died Monday, April 13, 2015 at the Muse
Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit in Mason City.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 A.M., Friday, April 17, 2015 at Garner Evangelical Free
Church, 580 US18, Garner, with Pastor Haddon Anderson officiating.

Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Thursday, April 16, 2015 at Cataldo Schott Funeral Chapel, 505 North Clark St., Forest City.

Interment will be held in Madison Township cemetery in Forest City.

Mary Ann was born August 4, 1940 in Winnebago County, Iowa, the daughter of Martin E. and Bertha (Charlson) Monsen.

Over the years, she worked a variety of jobs that allowed her to interact with the public. Mary Ann was currently employed at HyVee West in Mason City as the "Sample Lady" - a job she truly enjoyed. One of her greatest joys was visiting with others and sharing the word of God. She loved to share her cooking and baking with others. She was always the first to offer help to those in need.

Mary Ann is survived by her three children, Kimberly (Larry) Merchant, Robin Ward and
fiancée, Kimberly Walker and James (Linda) Ward; grandchildren, Jaime Haugland, Valerie
Merchant and fiancé, Justin Cook, Dana (Kiley) Eisenmann, Christina Gayken and Clay Nagel,
Adam Walker, Jennifer Walker, Amber (Al) Schwickerath, Alex Young; great-grandchildren,
Rylie, Natasha, Brice, Conner, Sydney, Jaxon, Izabella, Turner.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Martin Monsen and Eugene Monsen;, sisters-in-law, LeAnne Monsen and Carmen Monsen; grand-nephew, Joshua Gapp.
