Mary Elaine Holder

BRITT - Mary Elaine Holder, 66, of Britt died Tuesday (April 12, 2011) at the Westview Care Center in Britt.

Memorial services will be held 11 A.M., Saturday at the Cataldo Funeral Home in Britt with Rev. Joel De Boer officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the funeral home on Saturday.

Mary E. Holder, the daughter of Herbert and Agnes (Bakke) Ryerson, was born November 15, 1944 in Forest City. She grew up the in Hayfield area, and graduated from Garner-Hayfield High School in 1963. She married Clifford Holder, who died in 2007. Prior to moving to the Westview Care Center in Britt she had lived in California and Arizona.

She is survived by one sister, Donna Lackore of Forest City; and five brothers, Jon of Nichols, Iowa, Michael of Anchor Point, Alaska, Douglas of Homer, Alaska, Raymond of Garner, and Tom of St. Paul, Minnesota.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford; her parents; two sisters, JoAnn Davis and Sandra Birkey; and two brothers, Ronald and Jerome.
