Michael R. Williams, 64, of Garner passed away unexpectedly Saturday, August 13, 2022, at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center in Mason City.
As per his wishes, his body was cremated and there will be no services.
Michael Ray Williams, the son of Joseph and Margaret (Thornton) Williams, was born September 3, 1957, at American Fork, Utah. On September 4, 2003, he married Shelby Frye at Asheboro, North Carolina. They made their home in Garner where Michael was employed as an over-the-road truck driver for Hueneman Trucking for many years. He enjoyed his pets and fixing things.
Michael is survived by his wife, Shelby of Garner; a brother; two sisters; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Joseph and Doug Williams.
