Rhonda R. Bohn, 69, of Ventura, passed away Friday, January 31, 2025, at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center in Mason City.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, February 7, 2025, at St. John Lutheran Church east of Garner with Rev. Mark Lund officiating. Inurnment will be at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery.

A memorial visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m., Thursday at Cataldo Funeral Chapel, 160 E. 4th St., Garner and will continue one hour prior to services at the church.
Rhonda Renee Bohn, daughter of Stanton and Leona (Mix) Rodberg, was born on February 27, 1955, in Mason City. She graduated from Mason City High School in 1973. On January 19, 1974, Rhonda united in marriage with Charles Bohn at Trinity Lutheran Church in Mason City. They made their home in Clear Lake before moving to an acreage north of Ventura in 1979. Rhonda pursued further education at Hamilton Business College, earning her degree in accounting. She enjoyed a fulfilling career as an accountant, working at several local businesses in the Clear Lake area and ultimately retiring from Church and Dwight in Mason City in 2023. Among her various roles, she particularly cherished her time at the Surf Ballroom in Clear Lake, which brought her great joy.
A lover of all animals, Rhonda's heart was truly devoted to the creatures on her farm. She found immense happiness in cooking and baking, often delighting friends and family with her delectable apple or pumpkin pies. Gardening and canning were also among her passions, but above all, Rhonda treasured the time spent with her loved ones. She will be remembered for her remarkable ability to make everyone feel special and valued.
Rhonda was an active member of St. John Lutheran Church, taking part in various groups and positions within the church community.
She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Charles, of Ventura; two daughters, Samantha (Chris) Gobeli of Britt and Jessica (Dr. Andrew) Maiers of Tiffin, Iowa; grandsons Ian and Isaac Gobeli; and a granddaughter, Baby Maiers due in July. Rhonda is also survived by her sisters, Judy (Darvin) Rose and Barbara (Duff) Juhl, both of Mason City; step-sisters Cathy Vorland and Penny Havig of Clear Lake, and Sherri Murphy of Mason City; as well as step-brother Bob (Melody) Olsen of Missouri. She leaves behind numerous cherished nieces and nephews.
Rhonda was preceded in death by her parents, Stanton and Leona Rodberg; her parents-in-law, Milton and Darlene Bohn; her stepmother, Bonnie Rodberg; her brother-in-law, Skip Rose; and her step-sister, Connie Ubben.
Rhonda’s legacy of love and kindness will forever resonate with all who knew her. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered.
