Robert A. Rollefson

Robert Allen “Ernie” Rollefson, 50, of Clear Lake died Friday, June 19, 2015 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 A.M. Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at the Cataldo Schott Funeral Chapel, 505 North Clark St. Forest City, IA 50436 with Pastor Ed Bard, Chaplain-Hospice of North Iowa officiating.

Visitation will be held 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. on Monday, June, 22, 2015 at the funeral chapel.

Interment will be held in the Madison Township Cemetery in Forest City.

Robert was born October 4, 1964 in Forest City, Iowa the son of Robert K. and Phyllis (Tannahill) Rollefson. He attended school at Forest City Community School District. Ern loved to fish, spend time outdoors, camp, play frisbee golf and go four wheeling, work and watch stock cars and was an avid Vikings fan. Ern enjoyed watching and coaching his two sons wrestling. You could always find him with a pair of drum sticks in his hands and grooving to music. Summertime was spent long boarding with his two sons.
He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was survived by his mother, Phyllis (Joel) Punke and father, Robert Rollefson; children, Jeremy Rose (Alyss) , Brooke (Josh) Hamm and Travis Rollefson; siblings, Steve (Kathy) Rollefson, Mike (Becky) Rollefson, Kim (Brent) Harris, Chris (Heather) Punke and Michelle (Tara) Punke; grandchildren, Payt’n, Nora, McKinsley, Evan and Gavin; nieces and nephews, Chris, Scott, Brandon, Dustin, Logan, Spencer, Gabriel, Nora, Ava, Ella and Henry and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
