Sandra Marie Adams

Madison, Alabama – Sandra Marie Adams, 62, formerly of Forest City, died Friday, October 21, 2016 at her home in Alabama under the care of Hospice, after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer.

Celebration of Life services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, October 28, 2016 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Forest City with the Rev. Rod Hopp officiating.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. Thursday at Cataldo Schott Funeral Home, 505 North Clark St. Forest City, Iowa 50436.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed the family, funds will be distributed to Hospice Family Care and the Huntsville Hospital Cancer Unit.

Sandra Marie Adams was born on Aug 20, 1954, the daughter of Kenneth and Lorraine Swenson of Albert City, IA. She attended Albert City High School and NIACC College.
Sandra and Jeffrey Adams were united in marriage on September 24, 1977. One child fulfilled this marriage, Jillian Whitney Turner.

Sandra worked at Winnebago Industries for 25 years and was currently retired.
One of her greatest joys in life was her granddaughter Khloe Saylor Turner.
She also loved the beach, vacations, water skiing, boating and spending time with family and friends.

Sandra is survived by her loving husband, Jeffery Adams of Madison, AL; her daughter, Jillian Turner of Madison, AL; her granddaughter, Khloe Turner; parents, Kenneth and Lorraine (Conners) Swenson of Albert City, IA ; one brother, Glen (Betty) Swenson of Albert City, IA and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
