Shawntel Marie Aguirre

Shawntel Marie Aguirre, 38, of Forest City, died Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at her home.

A service celebrating her life will be held 1:00 P.M. June 18, 2016 at Pilot Knob State Park at the Ampitheatre.

Memorials may be directed to the Shawntel Aguirre fund.

Shawntel was born October 6, 1977, the daughter of Betty Gatton. She attended school in Hampton, graduating in 1995.

She was married to Stephen Aguirre Jr. on July 13, 2015.

She was employed by Mercy Hospitals as a Registered Nurse for many years.

Some of Shawntel’s favorite hobbies included crafts, coloring, spending time with her kids, walks with her husband and watching hockey and movies.

She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her husband, Stephen Aguirre Jr. of Forest City, children, Molly Dickler of CA, Kaitlyn Franklin of Forest City, Nicholas Karalius of Lake Mills, A.J. Aguirre of Forest City and Alexandria Brahm of Forest City; three grandchildren, Emmitt and Kesslee-Jo and Lilyanna of Forest City; sibling, Brandi Burtis and Troy Burtis both of Mason City; numerous cousins, aunts and uncles.

She was preceded in death by her mother and grandparents.
