Tamera “Tammy” M. Brumm Redasky, 58, of Tucson, AZ, formerly of Britt passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, October 23, 2020.
Due to COVID, the memorial mass for Tammy has been rescheduled for 10:30 A.M., Saturday, April 17, 2021 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Britt with Rev. Fr. Joseph Sevcik officiating. The service will be livestreamed on the Cataldo Funeral Home Facebook page. Inurnment will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Britt. The family requests that those attending the service follow social distancing guidelines and to wear a mask.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church.

Tammy was born May 29, 1962 in Britt to parents Denny and Judy (Maxson) Brumm. Following graduation from Britt High School in 1980, she received an associate’s degree in Respiratory Therapy at Rochester Community College in association with Mayo Clinic. Tammy later earned her bachelor’s and master’s degree. She started work at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. In 1985, she moved to Tucson, AZ to work at the Tucson Medical Center. In 2000 she joined the Pima Medical Institute and became the PMI Respiratory Program Director in 2012. In 2017 Tammy received the Arizona Society for Respiratory Care Lifetime Outstanding Achievement Award for 30+ years of volunteerism. She loved her job, her staff and her students. She was united in marriage to James Redasky on November 29, 2003 in Tucson, AZ. Tammy was an energetic, fun-loving, caring person who loved the Iowa Hawkeyes, Arizona Wildcats and Green Bay Packers. She enjoyed ballgames, walking, playing cards, and being with people. She cherished time with her family and loved her nieces and nephews as her own.
Tammy is survived by her husband, Jim, of Tucson; her parents, Denny and Judy Brumm of Britt; sisters, Jill (John) Kruger of Hayfield, MN and Kim (Mike) Boekelman of Sergeant Bluff, IA; her beloved nieces and nephews, Meagan Tycz, Cole Kruger, Kate Kruger, Tana Boekelman and Ty Boekelman; and many special friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents; and aunt Becky.
