Terry Lee Keeper

Terry Lee Keeper, 71, of Scarville, formerly of Forest City, died Sunday, March 12, 2017 at Albert Lea Medical Center in Albert Lea, MN.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, March 16, 2017 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Forest City, with Pastor Rod Hopp officiating.

Visitation will be held 4:00 – 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at Cataldo Schott Funeral Chapel, 505 North Clark St. Forest City, IA.

Burial will be held in Memorial Park Cemetery in Mason City, Iowa.

Terry Lee Keeper was born July 5, 1945 to Raymond John and Irene Helen (Peck) Keeper. He graduated at Mason City High School in 1963 and attended college at Mason City Junior College and at Orange Coast of California.

He was married to Gina Marie (Genzler) Keeper on June 1, 1978.

Terry worked many different jobs in his life, but his longest career was working in the maintenance department at Winnebago Industries, Inc., retiring after 38 years of service. Terry was currently managing The Den Restaurant at the Bear Creek Golf Course in Forest City.

Terry enjoyed fishing, golfing, cooking and especially had a passion for automobiles. He loved spending time with his family and friends and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his mother, Irene Keeper of Mason City, Iowa; his wife Gina Keeper; his three daughters, Shannon Bonner and her significant other Tim Hakl, Shawn Keeper and her fiancé DJ Hays, and their children Dominic Keeper, Hunter Thorson, Kael Thorson and Ivan Hays; Shane Schimmelpfennig and her husband, Jake Schimmelpfennig and their children, Spencer Bryan, Gadge Snider-Keeper, Alyza Schimmelpfennig, Avalyn Schimmelpfennig, and Shay Schimmelpfennig.

He is preceded in death by his father, Raymond John Keeper.
