Todd W. Grove

Todd W. Grove, 62, of Garner, passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2024, at his home.

A memorial mass will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, January 4, 2025, at Sacred Heart Church in West Des Moines.Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church.

 Todd William Grove, the son of Ron and Dorie (Smith) Grove, was born on August 1, 1962 in Algona. He attended Garner-Hayfield High School. During his career, Todd traveled extensively. He spent time in Afghanistan as a contractor on U.S. military bases, using his expertise as a skilled electrician. His career also took him to Oklahoma and Texas to work on the pipelines in the Permian Basin. He continued working as an electrician most of his life and later retired, residing in his home in Garner. Todd enjoyed spending time with family, playing cards, and helping friends whenever he was needed.

 Todd is survived by his mother, Dorie Grove, of West Des Moines; three siblings, Dave (Rachel) Grove of Fox Point, Wisconsin, Doug (Patti) Grove of Naperville, Illinois, and Amy (Paul) Bejarno of Clive, Iowa; and eight nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his two stepdaughters, Jordan (Phil) Pruessner and Taylor (Mark) Peterson, whom he lovingly cared for as his own. 

 He was preceded in death by his father, Ron Grove, and sister-in-law, Susie Grove.
