William “Bill” Pischke died peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones at home, on October 4, 2017 in Renwick, Iowa at the age of 59.
A celebration of life will be held for all that want to share stories and remember Bill at four o’clock pm (4:00 pm) on Saturday, October 7th, 2017, at the Renwick Community Center. In lieu of flowers and gifts please send donations to Kossuth County C.A.R.E. Team (1125 Highway 18 E., Box 353, Algona, Iowa, 50511) in furtherance of his passion for ensuring all children’s well-being.
Bill was born on April 13, 1958 in La Crosse, Wisconsin to Donald and Marion. He graduated from Winona State University with a degree in Criminal Justice. He married Cindy in 1977.
Bill, an Army Veteran, spent most of his career working for the State of Iowa, passionately protecting children from abuse.
He will be forever remembered by many for his big heart and selflessness, and for some, his hatred of the Green Bay Packers and his mastery of the “F-Bomb.” He dedicated his life to taking care of those around him whom he loved. His hobbies included hunting and fishing, but he was most passionate about creating smiles for others.
Bill is survived by his wife, Cindy; sons, Jeremy and Jason; siblings, Jeff, Don, Dan and Lori; grandchildren, Tatum and Drake; many beloved nieces, nephews, friends and others that Bill loved as his own; and his chocolate lab, Ontario.
